Review relevant records. Check the context.

Vero brings staff-created pass, lateness and configured support-destination records into a role-based view. Records are limited inputs to professional judgement — not diagnoses, risk scores or automatic decisions.

Useful signals, with professional judgement in charge

Vero helps authorised staff retrieve relevant records. Your team supplies the student context, professional judgement and follow-up.

Review repeated records

Review relevant teacher-created pass records over an appropriate date range. Staff must validate the entries and consider the surrounding context before deciding what — if anything — they mean.

  • Filter authorised Vero records by student and time period
  • Review frequency, duration and destination together
  • Use record summaries as context, not labels

Route prompts to the right role

Schools can define thresholds and choose which staff roles receive an alert. That lets routine records stay routine while selected exceptions reach the people responsible for reviewing them.

  • School-defined thresholds
  • Role-based alert routing
  • Human review before follow-up

Prepare factual school conversations

Authorised staff can bring relevant Vero records into a parent, year-level or support conversation. The entries provide dates and staff-recorded details; they do not replace the student’s perspective or the school’s professional assessment.

  • Searchable student history
  • Export for authorised school use
  • Clear separation between record and interpretation

Guardrails matter as much as access

Pass records can support student care only when they are read carefully and handled by the right people.

Context before conclusion

A repeated visit or absence can have many explanations. Vero surfaces the record; staff establish the context.

Need-to-know access

Schools assign access by staff role and can limit sensitive workflows to appropriate authorised teams.

School-led follow-up

Vero does not contact students or families. Follow-up remains with the school and its approved processes.

No automated diagnosis

Vero does not label a student, diagnose a concern or turn movement history into an automated wellbeing score.

A simple review rhythm

Use Vero alongside — not instead of — the school’s wellbeing, safeguarding and case-management practices.

1

Notice

Review a relevant notification or record summary within the approved school purpose.

2

Check context

Consider timetable, learning, health and other context before drawing a conclusion.

3

Follow school process

Use the appropriate staff conversation, support pathway or approved case-management system.

Questions from wellbeing teams

How Vero supports review without replacing professional judgement.

Does Vero diagnose wellbeing concerns?
No. Vero records school activity and can make selected patterns easier for authorised staff to review. A pattern is a prompt to check context, not a diagnosis, risk score or conclusion about a student.
Does Vero replace our wellbeing or case-management system?
No. Vero is a staff-facing school operations platform. It can provide relevant movement, lateness and configured wellbeing-visit records, but professional notes, case management and safeguarding processes should remain in the systems and procedures your school has approved for them.
Who can see sensitive records?
Access is controlled by school and staff role. Schools should configure access so staff see only the information needed for their responsibilities, with particularly sensitive workflows limited to appropriate authorised roles.
Can alerts be sent to the right staff member?
Yes. School administrators can configure thresholds and route alerts to roles such as year, house, wellbeing or leadership staff. Alerts surface a record for review; they do not make a decision about the student.
Do students need a Vero account?
No. Vero is staff-facing. Teachers and other authorised school staff create and manage records; students do not receive Vero accounts or passwords.
How can a wellbeing team evaluate Vero?
Start with a 20-minute demo. Vero's one-term pilot is $500 AUD excluding GST, or the school's quoted annual subscription price if that is lower. The full pilot fee is credited towards an annual subscription if the school continues.
